To further develop our growth we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Machine Control for our headquarter in Karlsruhe.

Job description

As a software engineer, you will be part of our motivated and innovative R&D team that will shape the long-term success of our 3D printing products. The multi-faceted use of our products results in a variety of software development tasks with different areas of expertise. As a part of our machine control team, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and developing of the control software for our 3D printers
  • Designing and developing software for interacting with specific hardware components
  • Understanding and improving the software deployment process for our 3D printers
  • Optimizing the functionality and quality of the software continuously for better scalability and maintainability

Your profile

Our ideal candidate has the following profile:
  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, mathematics or natural sciences/engineering.
  • At least three years of professional experience in design and development of complex software solutions
  • Very good knowledge of programming in Python (C++ knowledge is an advantage)
  • Hands-on experience with the Linux operating system
  • Experience in interacting with hardware components such as sensors and cameras is an advantage
  • Motivation, independence and passion for "Clean Code"
  • Very good communication skills in English
