For a home office in the vicinity of a major airport we are looking for a Sales Manager Americas (m/f/d) in full time.

Job Description

You are responsible for sales in the United States and Americas in academia and industry. Your responsibilities in detail are:
  • Organizing and participating at trade fairs, holding public lectures at symposiums and workshops for the purpose of maintaining contact with customers, prospects and influencers in the field of microfabrication, as well as the acquisition of new contacts
  • Processing and answering technical, scientific and application-related inquiries from interested parties
  • Conducting product demonstrations for prospects in-house or at hosting facilities, as well as visiting prospects
  • Negotiating and supporting feasibility studies as an interface between the Process and Application department and leads / prospects
  • Identifying growth opportunities for the company in existing and new market segments for current products including market and competitor analyses and conception of go-to-market strategies
  • Reporting to Head of Sales including compilation of statistics, market information and trends, monitoring of competition
  • Sales campaigns based on growth opportunities including cold-calling and follow-up
  • Sales of systems, upgrades, service contracts, accessories and consumables
  • Negotiation of orders and order entry
  • Entry and maintenance of customer data in the ERP system 

Your Profile

  • successfully completed science-technical studies, physics preferred
  • at least 2 years of professional sales experience
  • experience in the fields of precision engineering - lithography, optics, nanostructures or additive manufacturing
  • application knowledge of 3D printing – two-photon polymerization preferred, bioprinting microfabrication, lithography, microoptics desirable
  • fluency in written and spoken English is required; Spanish, French and/or German is a plus
  • energetic and result-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and high degree of reliability
  • affinity for details with high and quick comprehension
  • outstanding communication skills and sensitivity for the conversation partner
Candidates (m/f/d) must be currently located in the United States and have the legal authorization to work on a full-time basis. 

Travel percentage: approximately 30-40%
