To further develop our growth we are hiring for an entry-level technical sales position as Junior Sales Consultant (m/f/d) for 3D printing systems within the EMEA region at our headquarters in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen (Karlsruhe area).

Job Description

After receiving appropriate training through support and mentoring from experienced colleagues and training in sales techniques, you will take on responsibility for sales in a specific area of the EMEA region. Your duties and responsibilities in detail are:

  • Acquisition of new customers in the territory as well as support and expansion of business with existing customers
  • Management of technical inquiries, feasibility tests and print jobs and acting as an interface between the internal technical specialists and external customers
  • Consulting with customers and prospects on-line or on-site, giving product demonstrations, as well as participation at trade fairs and giving lectures at conferences
  • Reporting market information, growth opportunities, trends and competitor activities

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you need to have a good understanding of our technology. You do not necessarily need to already have worked with it. What is more important to us is the willingness to familiarize yourself with this area and to be able to advise our customers and prospective customers extensively and to the point. The ideal candidate has therefore the following profile:

  • Successfully completed science-technical studies, physics preferred
  • First experience in the fields of precision engineering - lithography, optics, nanostructures or additive manufacturing
  • Application knowledge of 3D printing - two-photon polymerization preferred. Bioprinting microfabrication, lithography, microoptics are desirable (but not mandatory).
  • You are very fluent in written and spoken English, German and other EMEA languages are a plus
  • Energetic and result-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and high degree of reliability
  • Affinity for details with high and quick comprehension
  • Outstanding communication skills and sensitivity for the conversation partner 
  • Travel percentage: approximately 30-40%
