
Business Development Manager APAC (m/f/d)
For our office in the Karlsruhe area we are looking for a Business Development Manager APAC (m/f/d) in full time.
Job description
- You participate in trade fairs, symposia, and workshops, delivering presentations that spark interest and convincingly communicate the value of our technologies to customers, prospects, and industry influencers.
- You conduct compelling product demos both in-house and on-site, including visits to prospects and joint demonstrations at existing customer facilities.
- You coordinate feasibility studies, acting as the key interface between the departments Customer Success and Process & Application and prospective customers.
- You analyze the APAC market to uncover growth potential for current and emerging products by obtaining structured market data through interviews, requirement analyses, and evaluation of internal and external data sources.
- You enable local distributors by preparing and maintaining sales and marketing materials, handling routine inquiries, preparing quotations, and tracking agreed marketing activities.
- You develop marketing campaigns and sales initiatives to drive successful market development in APAC.
- You structure and evaluate product requirements for new solutions in selected academic and industrial segments of the Photonic Intergrated Circuits market.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your studies in electronic engineering, semiconductor engineering, microsystems engineering, physics, or equivalent technical experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Ideally you have experience in semiconductor industry, particular in integrated photonics or optics and user experience with two-photon lithography systems.
- You have strong intercultural communication skills and ability to work across international environments.
- You have fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Additional language skills in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean are a plus.
